Personality:

Passionate – Cursed – Neglected – Soulful – Humble

At first glance, Jabari is a brilliant and devoted priest who devotes his whole life to preaching about the Egyptian gods. He sacrifices himself to them and most people would say that he is a devout man since he doesn’t do anything outside of his specialty rather than run his temple. He puts up an outgoing and approachable appearance and yet when someone starts talking to him his face will always turn somber. Jabari is a very serious man who hasn’t had much happiness in his life and can be literal. He tries to smile though and be as nice as he can, but it’s hard to when he feels like he’s been an outcast all his life.

Outside of his occupation, Jabari is always trying to take care of other people so he can hide his pain. People will often complain that he needs to take care of himself since he overworks his body night and day and that he needs to reflect upon himself but he merely ignores them and continues to care for the people instead. He’s scared of what he would find and doesn’t want to confront his pain that he has built up over the years. If he did then he believes that he would become an unstable man who’s been cursed by the gods to be a burden to himself and to constantly feel that neglect and sorrow for his whole life.

Despite all of that he does open up to a few people. Jabari gets tired of his lifestyle every now and then and would love to hear stories from other travelers about their adventures. It eases his mind and is a relief to him when he encounters anyone who is foreign to his land, since he has quite a reputation there.

Overall Jabari is a troubled soul who’s been cursed and needs to find an escape by talking to other people who don’t know who he is. By doing this he will be able to start off on a clean slate and it’ll help him feel better.
